TECHNICAL
MARCOM SPECIALIST
Our client is seeking a Technical Marketing
Communications Specialist for their new offices located on the perimeter
of Heathrow Airport.
You will understand the basics of the
client's products but you will not need a deep product knowledge. In
essence, some technical savvy is required for this role.
This is a global position.
You will:
• Support the production, execution and quality assurance of sales
and promotional communication materials
• Provide appropriate website reviews and work with the web developers
on appropriate amendments/changes
• Work with Google Adwords to ensure high page rankings
• Interface with internal teams to gather campaign participation
information related to supply and delivery of marketing and advertising
materials
• Support and implement marketing strategies and analyse marketing
communications effectiveness
• Research, recommend and implement promotional programs to increase
market awareness and improve market penetration
• Support print production and press checks for quality control
of direct marketing materials
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding Marketing communications
• Collaborate with sales, product development and other functional
areas to develop and provide marketing materials responsive to customer
needs and market opportunities
Skills and Experience
Required:
• 5+ years MarCom experience within a technical organisation is
essential
• Experience working with a PR company would be beneficial
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to establish measurement criteria and processes to evaluate
program ROI would be beneficial
• Strong skills in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint are essential

Our client is seeking a Project/Product
Manager, ideally from a Telecoms or ISP background, for their new offices
located on the perimeter of Heathrow Airport.
The role is approximately 70% Project
and 30% Product management. You will have a high technical understanding
combined with strong commercial awareness and a very structured approach
to your work.
Working with the development
teams based in China, you will be instrumental in defining processes.
You will:
• Work with a team to produce high quality project specifications
• Manage products from conception to EOL
• Serve as the focal point for the customer, liaising between
development and sales teams
• Produce high quality, technical datasheets and specifications
for all products
• Work with all major clients to ascertain product needs
• Be diligent in all QA

SYSTEMS
ENGINEER
Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer,
ideally from a Telecoms or ISP background, for their new offices located
on the perimeter of Heathrow Airport.
You will provide pre and post sales support
to a wide range of prospects and some existing customers. You will have
a full understanding of the integration between the CPE and telecoms
system, and understand how to troubleshoot such systems.
Working with the development
teams based in China, you will provide a strong technical lead establishing
product requirements.
You will:
• Develop technical relationships with customers to address their
needs and convey requirements to the appropriate development teams
• Manage RFI and RFP technical answers
• Install and manage customer technology trials
• Serve as the focal point for all technical issues and questions
as required
• Provide telephone technical support when required
Skills and Experience
Required:
• Very strong technical skills and networking background
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Linux (specifically MySQL) experience essential
• Experienced at installing and supporting multiple network hardware
and software products
• Good understanding of network management
• Knowledge of TR-069 would be highly beneficial but not essential
• 5+ years of experience in the field of networking.

PA/OFFICE
ASSISTANT
Our client is seeking a PA/Office Assistant
for their new offices located on the perimeter of Heathrow Airport.
The ideal candidate will have at least
7+ years of solid secretarial/administrative experience. You will understand
how to 'control' a team of technical personnel, ensuring they are kept
up to date with their schedules and travel arrangements.
You will have solid Excel experience
and be confident preparing reports, budgets, expenses, payments and
bank reconciliations using the same. Any experience of an accounting
package (eg. Sage) would be beneficial but is not essential.
You will be confident preparing Powerpoint
presentations, working on datasheets and producing invoices and general
correspondence using Word.
You will have excellent communication
skills and be patient as you will be dealing daily with personnel in
China and Taiwan who will need your assistance in preparing quality
documents. You will therefore have a first class mastery of the English
language and be friendly and proactive in your attitude.
You will be acting as PA to the VP of
Sales & Marketing when he is in the UK office (roughly 1-2 days
per week) and in his absence, will ensure that the office runs smoothly.
You will have a confident telephone manner
and be adaptable to the requirements of the team dependent upon their
workloads.

Our client is seeking a Project
Manager within the Electrics business to co-ordinate activities on numbers
of contracts as well as providing technical input to the development
of the projects from concept, to unit production build, and operational
acceptance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Management of projects to time and cost
• Co-ordination of the team and resources assigned to the projects
• Provision of management information reporting on progress both
internally and externally
• Development of close, long term customer relationships
• Development of appropriate recovery plans to achieve milestones
as required
• Leading bid preparation activities as required
• Assisting the team to develop creative solutions to technical
problems
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• Broad engineering experience with ideally some commercial or
other managerial exposure
• Team leader / project management experience with a small technical
team
• Degree in an appropriate technical discipline
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Project or equivalent
• Exposure to project management methodologies such as PRINCE
• Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
• Well organised, robust, self motivated team player
• Experience within a military/defence/aerospace industry would
be an advantage
